They will back the install and the vehicle warranty. Borla will back the product warranty.

The build quality, fit and finish and materials used are well worth the extra cost. Plus our lifetime warranty.

Great news! I'll take a hard look when available. I would hope they compliment my GMPP axle back exhaust.

Not fair, lol...you're MRT's favorite Camaro boy and you live right there!!!

I look forward to your install as much as I do mine, lol. Following what you have done has been one of the biggest driving factors in tweaking mine out, lol. Of course, if I can get something done first...hehe

If GMPP will have shorties for the V6, I wonder if they will ever offer a GMPP catback?

I just watched the BBK vid about the LT headers that they are going to make for the v6. On their dyno pull, the car barely reached 70mph before it redlined. I wonder what gear they did their pull in? I made mine in 4th, got it to hit the limiter, 155mph. Wonder if doing the pull in 3rd would change things?
interesting... they must have done the pull in like 2nd gear.... ???? hmmmm...

I will say all my pulls have been in 3rd gear... we tried it in 4th once... results were the same as 3rd gear... the pull in 4th just took a lot longer! LOL

Dyno runs should (and have for years) be done in whatever gear ratio is closest to 1:1. Using 2nd or 3rd will increase torque slightly in most cars.... but not ours. The torque limiter would pull some of the gain back in 2-3rd. There is also a correction factor which accounts for the gear ratio used. Any dyno can be manipulated thru these variables. But, as long as both runs are made with (relatively) the same setup, the gains would be actual.... even if the total numbers are inflated.

Dyno runs should always be made in one to one.

It went to 100mph, sorry. So I guess 3rd gear? What mph are you getting to scrming?

I thought 4th was as close to 1:1 that we had? I also thought by doing pulls in gears other then 1:1, one would get "inflated" numbers.

There's an input for that in the setup... so, if it's properly setup, there will be little difference in HP figures.

Are the ratios in the v6 A6 the same as in the v8? If so, that puts us a 1.15:1 in 4th, while the manual versions are 1:1 in 4th. IIRC, we are 1.53:1 in 3rd and .85:1 in 5th, if our ratios are the same as the v8 cars.
