1LT and no RS Package? does it come with a 10k rebate? Because that would make it a selling point for me :P

looks like GM will be having ANOTHER new CEO if the current one is allowing boneheaded decisions like..I don't know, maybe limiting a popular color to the 1lt no rs version. I'm starting to understand GM's ability to NOT make money.

Maybe the reason for 1LT only is because they don't want to do two customer interiors? They plan to do the cloth only?

I Absolutely disagree with you on that one, I think GM have made a smart move by producing something different; surely targeting a wider category of potential buyers that consider value for money and appearance.

I am sure that many will purchase the 1LT V6 SYNERGY GREEN modified Cammy, cus' its cool as hell!.

I think you nailed it on the head. It's clearly aimed at the budget pocket rocket crowd. It's probably a good idea but I think a lot of people will be unhappy it's only available on 1LT unless you can get the gauge pack as an option.

You all are not seeing the big picture... Now I can't say why no RS package, but I understand the interior. It takes a ton of time and money to re-tool for specialty packages. I was hoping to see it avail in the 1SS though, since the cloth seats are the same in the 1LT and 1SS.

RS package shouldve been an option, leaving it out makes no sense

Poor move, IMO. There's a lot of V8 buyers out there who want this green. AND.....

The only difference in painting a V6 to a V8???????????

A FRONT FACIA!!!!!

Really GM....you gotta be kidding me.

Well, to those who want exclusivity, have at it. You get a 1LT in Synergy Green. Congrats to those few. You will have a rare(er) car than most.

I took some pictures of the green Camaro at SEMA this year.

http://www.brettgarrettphotography.com/Sema2009/

I think you'd want to look at pictures 67 and 68 specifically. I color balanced the images to be as close to the actual color. The lighting inside the convention center is Sodium based, and it plays havoc with photography lighting:

Glad to see that they want to stick as close as possible to the show car.

1LT - Check!
No RS - Check!

Oh, wait...
High wing - Nope...damn.
Brembo package - Nope...damn.
Pedders Coilover Lowering kit - Nope...damn.

Now, the question is...will it come with the GFX, black 21" wheels and the rally stripes?
