Bluebagger, my 2 cents is that something was not checked by your builder

Did the info on the cam card match what cam motion engraved on the butt of the cam?

Yeah I thought your other thread was started by someone else so I thought maybe two people had trouble with that cam.

You look at that damage without knowing any of the particulars of this thread and wonder if it was too long of a pushrod, incredibly stiff spring, incorrectly ground cam, or a shop that hasn't a clue and just wrenched the hell out of the rockers without regard to cam position.

But damn.

wish i knew, i am about ready to drag the ****ing car out of there.all i know is those rockers dont match, suppose to have all new TSP rockers in there

The roller tips are 599.
for 429 i think you get texas speed ls3 rockers with the trunnion upgrade
