I have looked at several reviews, some say they had not issues others would never put them back on.
I wasn't aware that the Brembos were a semi-metallic pad.I spoke with the dealer and they stock the AC Delco, complaining whether I should go that route, since the Hawk pad is a cermanic and much harder on the disc.According to the parts counter guy IA deal with at my dealership, said Bremono dosen't make the cermanic pad.
So have anyone used the ACDelco brand or know any information on weter they are just as dusty as the Brembo OEM pads.

Stinger bee, are you planing on using the stock Brembo rotors?
How many miles on your rotors/brakes?

I'm at 36K, running factory Brembo pads with roller skates and rotors. They sure are dirty.
Been researching, like you, brakes.

I'm thinking of going factory Brembo pads and Baer Decelarator slotted-drilled rotors.
Due to my car color and rims, the rotors really stand out....love the slot-drill look.

Anyone running this set-up? Comments?

Damn. I had no idea Brembo had ceramic available for our cars that inexpensive. That's like a third of what I spent on my front ceramic Hawks.

Good Morning Bud,yes I plan to stay with the stock Brembo Rotors, since they have very little wear on them.I am at 32k,I just had my MVI completed and they just passed, with only 4mil wear left on the rear and 6 mill on the front.According to the mechanic, when the pads are 3 mil, they won't pass inspection.
So what's you take on the factory brembo pads, are they cleaner with regards to dust.and still have the stopping performance as the OEM pads that came with the car?
Thanks guys for the feedback,I will check out your sources and try to come to a decision, have a great day.

I am running the OEM Brembos. Complete with the skates. They're standard on 2014 SS.
I haven't measured my rotors, Im sure they can be still be turned.

I've seen pics posted here of the factory Brembo pads where GM dealer just slapped Chevrolet scanable stickers. AC Delco is not brembo and yes, they are dirty but stop way better than Hawks...at least that's the general concensus of the membership here.

Edit: Here in FL, we have no vehicle safety inspections or emissions test.
Here it's run what you brought...scary

I'm on my second set of Powerstop Rotors and Pads. Just swapped out again a couple weeks ago after 158k miles. Last time rotors were swapped was around 70-80k miles.

No squeal with these bad boys. Broken in properly... always worried about messing with my brakes. I hate that squeal! With these large brakes and rotors, we sound like a freakin bus slowing down.

Powerstop has been good to me. Pic of when I got this set I'm wearing now. Installed at Brake Masters fairly cheap. Good bunch of guys over in La Verne...

I have heard the Hawk Pads is a great replacement for the OEM Bremboes ,and have very little dust and performs as well if not better when braking.I was wondering if anyone have swapped their Bremboes out with the Hawk pads.I have seen reviews where the Hawk Plus did not perform so well and was hard on the Roters, any advice would be appreciated.
I have never used Hawk brand rotors or pads but do here they are pretty good. I myself use PowerStop Z/26 Rotors and Pads and have had alot of luck with them and very little brake dust.

I've got the hawk blue box on mine. I like them due to low dust, but I didn't notice any change in braking performance.
