Nice joke.

Not as true as you would think, I have raced a charger and it was equal to about 60, he pulled on me and then around 1-115 I started catching back up, and mine is practically stock.

I think it will be an interesting race given the upgrades each is running. I'm not planning on winning, he's running a hemi while I'm just a little ole' V6..

The person was either not racing you or can't drive because there is no way an R/T would beat an SS.

and the only difference between the r/t and the srt8 engines really is that r/t is 5.7 and srt8 is a 6.2

and yes it was stock for stock..well i know my car was stock atleast

Um..wrong on many levels.

The difference between the first gen 5.7L and the 6.1 are many. Beyond the technical aspects, is that the difference between the two engines is 85 HP and 40 ft lbs of torque AT THE CRANK.

1st Gen 5.7L= 340 HP-390TQ
6.1L= 425 HP-420 TQ

A 2007 Charger R/T will put down 290 HP and maybe 310 TQ at the wheels. Thats on a 4300 LB sedan. A SS (assuming LS3) will put down 370 HP and 380 TQ to the wheels (midrange average) and is around 3900 pounds.
You're trying to tell us that you beat a car with a advantage of 80 WHP and 70 WTQ with a weight advantage of 400 pounds?

You didnt win. The only way you did was if the Camaro owner didnt know how to drive it at ALL or didnt want to race.

Even a L99 would have clubbed you like a red headed stepchild.
