This post is just for the sake of correctness. Originally, the Cobalt SS was a 2.0L supercharged ECOTEC. Then an Cobalt SS 2.4L VVT ECOTEC was introduced as an alternative, also featuring a sedan. Finally the 2.4L was rebadged Sport and the 2.0L ECOTEC was replaced with the LNF, featuring a turbocharger. This ended the need for GMPP to offer stage kits to amplify Cobalt SS power to the same levels. It also saved a lot of drivers tons of modding money.

Honestly, if the camaro turns out to be out of my price range, I'll be getting either a cobalt ss, or a caliber srt4. (The caliber only because it has more space for family and stuff... my fiance wants me to get a four door... I told her if she lets me get the camaro, I'll let her get a jeep. She was fine with that =D)

Hello! Newbie here...
My two cents are this... What would you want to caught driving, a Cobalt or a Camaro. The Cobalt is a sweet car, but I'd rather take the Camaro. Even though, it'd be fun to show a ricer a thing or two. |

not looking to replace....I play over here because you guys have a lot of interest in supercharging...and I have some inside info...so I share. The GTO is Holden platform and so is the Camaro....my name is William Holden....I couldn't help myself....I opened the drivers door and it read "manufactured by Holden" and then I drove it...OMFG! I would have a camaro...but can't really afford both...at least not now.

Sigh, it's true. I couldn't help it and I had no choice when I bought the thing.. I was in school and needed a car to replace my fried 1995 Honda Accor LX. I helped someone jump thier car, and they didn't ground the negative... all estimates were over $1000 to fix it, so I said NO!!!! Need a new car instead! When I bought that car, it was quicker than a equivalent Civic EX... That ticked off a lot of Civic people who were burnt at a stop light! Heck, people were mad when I burnt them in my old yello Caddy too! ROFL |
