Your getting a brand new motor for $600 installed. Juice isnt worth the squeeze..... They got a long block less intake, coil packs, plugs etc

Would they not allow you to supply the plugs and wires or is that somehow not allowed either? I honestly would not be surprised if not. But at this point I agree with Laser, sometimes you are so far ahead it is best not to push back.

No push back over here, just asking if engines come with spark plugs and wires normally. They offered to use my old ones but I declined and accepted the new ones. No biggie at all.

All they would likely replace are the items that would have been damaged by the failure, or as stated earlier a "long block" at most, possibly even a short block (reusing you old heads if there was no sign of damage. all of the external parts of the motors would be reused.

I think that is the answer to your question. Nothing on the outside if the engine would have normally been included. I'm not sure what you define as the "complete L99" and most of us are just guessing at what you got since we haven't seen your policy with the warranty company to see what it covered. Typically they would reuse anything not damaged.

Nothing was reused. They replaced the engine with a brand new long block with new manifold.

"Probably bad oil pump"
Did you noticed the oil pressure dropping at any point? Seems like if it was oil pump you'd notice and/or have warnings before the motor blew |
