  • 500 for the custom grill (comparing the phantom grill posted last week on camaro5 was 550)
  • 3000 for the wheels alone on the low side - the USED listings for the same brand 3 piece forged wheels are 2500+
  • 500 for the tires (those are big tires...)
  • 5000 for the supercharger from what I found doing google searches for the same kit
  • 500 for the supercharged tune
  • 150 for the floor mats (a good Lloyd set [i think that's the brand I bought?] will go for about that)

That only leaves $7,550 on the table for the labor for installing the supercharger and suspension upgrades, the suspension changes with progressive rate springs, rod and rear subframe bushings, car cover, and all the little emblems that they do.

These prices are with the thought of "what it would take to replicate" by purchasing everything brand new and having a shop do the installs.
So lets say we take 2550 off the table for the goodies. I don't know what the labor cost per hr is so I'll say 100 / hr. Do you think there is 500 hrs worth of labor in the car?

50*100= $5,000
500*100 = $50,000

19k is not a deal for suspension upgrades, ugly wheels and the same supercahrger kit anyone can buy...

Sorry, these kinds of cars are cool but there is a reason only 20 are made, they won't sell...

I could do without those hideous wheels (looks like a Caprice Classic Cruiser design), and all that horrible badging. Visuals are still a bit static and no more different or anymore outstanding than what camaro5.com members have been doing already with their cars. I would say grab the Magnusan Supercharger and have the full length Bumblebee stripes and call it a day for at least $10,000 less. Just my .2 cents if it is even worth that. Even if I really cared about who Matt Berger was, I wouldn't want his name all over my Camaro. I'd rather put more SS badging on my car than anybody elses' name. If his name meant anything to enthusiasts, and I'm sure it does, all I would care about was that his name was all over the paperwork representing the package upgrade. On paper; not on my car.

Send a message via Yahoo to CamaroMatt
I was told they will be ready for delivery late Oct to early Nov. These cars will go fast but they are not for the weak in the wallet people.

I, for one, wish that someone would address the interior in the same way they address the power output. There are a lot of people making great interior upgrades for the Camaro, but almost none of the "tuner" cars feature anything other than powertrain/aesthetic upgrades as part of their [insert name] Camaro.

I love it, well worth it. Those are the wheels I want on my car with black centers. Same size and all. They look small compared to the stockers but they look right on the car. I wish I had the money. The 4th gen Bergers were sweet and the 5th gens don't disappoint either.

Hmmm....if I drop that kind of money, it would be for the Z-28 if it ever gets produced or for a Vette...

Very nice, but I'll pass

I'm not sure you could pay me 20k to put all that on the Camaro that I don't have.. J/k

For 20k, there better be a toilet & something that wipes my ass for me. Or different rims.
