I called MarylandSpeed and got a great price for Kooks headers, high-flow cats, and Corsa catback exhaust. The Kooks are going to be jet hot coated. I love the look and the added advantage of lowering the amount of heat in the engine bay.I did my research on prices and Maryland speed beat them all. Brandon is friendly and very knowledgeable. I am very pleased.

Not at all,...

The Truck Only has 8700 Miles on it.

Do you think it might be the Florida Salty Air?
I only live a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico.

Wow, thanks for the pics. Those are 409 stainless, it will rust on the surface. Not that it should matter with the coating. Those welds look hideous, no JBA products in my future.

Okay so this amount of Rust is Normal, After all I'm guessing these tubes are probably 1/4" thick or something like that.

Whats wrong with the Welds?

with non T-304's yes, the rust is normal but your coating's not doing it's job. you may wanna check into the warranty.

look at your welds and then find some pics of ARH and Kooks. you'll see the difference.

i ordered Kooks with Jett Coat 1700............

Yeah but those are TIG welded. Besides, it's not like these are load-bearing structures or anything. As long as the penetration is good and there aren't any holes, it should be ok.
