Yea it would be odd since you can walk into a "tobacco" supply store and buy all the pipes, water pipes n clips you want.....

Who really needs a fake highliter marker that can turn into a "tobacco" pipe
and back into a "marker" in a few secs.

You beat me too it.

You don't see those crown air fresheners anymore, or neon colored wipers with multiple blades much anymore (thank God). I remember when people had car phones, but you needed an antenna attached to the roof for reception. Alot of idiots who didn't have car phones would attach fake antennas to their cars.

Cheesy louvers. lightning bolt and heartbeat antennas, slot mags, mirror tint, spot lights mounted on a van, woodpecker stickers, suction cup animals, white wagon wheel rims, triple roll bars in 2wd trucks.

Are necker knobs the same a suicide knobs?

Well they attach to the body of the car and when you got too close to the curb they would make a loud noise that would reverberate throughout the inside of the car...thus warning you you better not get any closer or you will ruin your Wide whitewall tires...

Necker knobs were so named so you could steer with one hand(pre power steering) and kiss your girlfriend while driving (necking) sometimes which caused car wrecks thus also they got the name of suicide knobs..
