I'm surprised I haven't heard more people getting Red. Red and sports car just seem to go hand in hand. That said, I'm not getting red. Just an observation more than anything.

Silver for me too. My first and only silver car was my '87 Grand Am SE V6, and I loved how nice it looked even when I had to donate it to charity in 2001 after an engine bearing went bad around 230K miles. :(

I am definitely getting because:
1. It was the color that premiered and launched my everlasting lust for this car at the 06 Auto Show! 2. Black is an awesome color, but it is a dirt magnet, so is white. Silver does not refelct dust and dirt as much. And 3. I am naming my Camaro the "Silver Bullet"! ( SLVR BLT on the plates) I am only orn between Chrome or Black rims/mags for her. But Definitely Silver body. |

I'm leaning toward blue (probably imperial) with white or gray stripes. I dunno, seems really cool!
I was never really a fan of silver - just a tad plain IMO. The cyber gray or whatever seems pretty legit though. |

From the responses would it be fair to say that everyone things Silver is at least decent, and that the buyers not interested in standing out (but still look good
and want to not wash the car so much will get silver? If yes that sounds great, as that fits me perfectly.

Silver's a bit bland for me personally, though not as bland as white. Either red or the light blue for me.

BB Package
I found a dealer in Houston that said there was going to be a BB package offered about the same time as the vert comes out. He said all they were told was a different yellow and would have some different interior options. My guess is black/yellow leather seats and door trim?

After I bought my black Z28, everytime I saw a silver Z28 (with the black top and upper b-pillar) I wished I had bought one of those.
The Silver and black for some reason gave it a very morden, high-tech look. |

8 years ago, silver was my absolute favorite color for a SPORTS car. Nothing was more intimidating than a silver 2000 WS6 or SS to me.
Fast forward 8 years... the magic silver once had for me is gone. Too many of em out there. My daily driver is a silver SUV, and yes, Im purposely omitting what SUV it is... Anyhow, the silver camaro does look awesome. But honestly, the concept being silver kinda made it the "standard color" to me if that makes any sense. I've always been a huuuge fan of Inferno Orange and the likes. But I'm a little worried it might be too popular with this car, thus taking the "pop" and magic it had away. I'm still undecided on color myself, but it WILL have my favorite 2 letters on the grille.... "SS"

i tend to like silver on tuner cars and luxury cars esp. (mercedes). However camaro does pull silver off brilliantly, and for that it's stil in my top three choices
1. Red 2. Black 3. Silver I was also wondering why more people are'nt considering red....

^Red looks good on it, but also, too popular. It seems the only colorful color around here, and I swore some time ago I'd never buy a red car.
