Do you have a rod mod intake? Go look at my thread, I know the stock manifold is choking my car but I’m also moving up to 2” primary’s. I think the cam I got is ok, but a GPI SS4 NFC might be my next move.

Gears make a significant difference in dyno readings. On my 4th gen Trans Am, change from 3.42 to 3.91 lowered Dino reading about 20hp. Same dyno, no others changes to the car.

Boy is the car feeling spicy

So I know it’s been a little while but I ended up getting 1 7/8 Texas speed long tubes for free. I put the long tubes on the car last Friday and let me tell you there is a noticeable difference. I know...I know butt dyno this and that but the car has definitely picked up something. I am still going to slap the car on a dyno to find out if it really was the 1 3/4 headers choking up the car and then after that a rod mod intake manifold. I will keep everyone updated again.

Did you have 391s in the first dyno run. My tuner sees a slight drop in whp on the dyno after a 391 gear swap. Also your initial rwhp seems high for your mod list.

Increasing air flow is always a win, win. The key to any power gains starts at air flow since a ICE is generally a giant air compressor. Look at what a difference the simple rod mod does to air flow.

I just did 463 whp with h/c and 3200 stall with 391s. With you being manual your numbers seem close. I think you are right where you should be.Not sure you gained much if any with the header swap.
