Yea, my buddy couldnt afford the gas for his long commute and got a honda...not a huge honda fan but I do like the "HUD" in their vehicles and interior isnt to bad...of course gas mileage is great...but with that said..

I assume the HUD is not the delay...I think its the back up sensor. I again..(ONLY ASSUME) that they will sell as a package much like the RS and the leather with ambient. Chances are if you want HUD you may get the back up sensor package as well? I am guessing that would run you between $1,100-1,800. If thats the case, I may just have to pass unless I get some huge bonus this Christmas.

I too would like GM to sate what the delay but generally they don't release this information. WIthout knowing the vendor for the HUD and the other projects they are committed too who knows what the problem is. I am sure the lack of HUD will not severely hurt sales in the first few months but it will cause some of us to wait longer which on the whole may be a blessing in disquise as I am sure there will be some minor problems in the first few months of the new model. I am tempted to by an RS V6 and drive it for a few months then give it to my daughter and get an SS/RS when the Hud is availible. She isn't thrilled with the car but has only seen pics at this point.
