I understand the shape of the roof has something to do with it but there has to be another way. It seems like the sunroof only opens halfway when it's over the roof like in the GTP's. Ah well still better than the reverse mohawk IMO.
i dont know that its better than the reverse mo hawk. that is a must on my car. it gives it so much better of an appearance and presence than the flat roof with the sunroof. IMO

Wow am I glad I was getting the regular coupe anyways. Seriously that is...not pretty.

Ugh. My first serious let down. Sunroof is a must for me, but I had never even CONSIDERED the idea they may make it slide over the roof instead of into it.

I'd take a cut in head room over this.

:(

Is that electric powered or manual? What are the other GM cars that use that style of sunroof?

I'm sure it's electric. It's something you'd expect to find on a Cobalt, and I believe that is what comes on it. But it shouldn't have made it to the Camaro.

Fbod says its to keep headroom, I say let the headroom suffer if you get a sunroof - that's pretty much how it is for every car.

Why wasn't this a question on the survey? Why weren't we advised of this earlier in the design process, and the ability to provide our feedback on this issue. And if we were, I can't believe more people would be willing to have this monstrosity to save a few inches in the roof.

That's nasty, and not in a good way. Can't they just bring back the t-tops so we can have the best of both worlds?

I want the opening as large as possible myself.

I believe that's called a 'Spoiler Style' sunroof.
Is that because it spoils the look of the car it's on? Very appropriate!

I love the car and hate to be a downer, but it seems that on some areas they consulted with people and got the right choices (USB, Bluetooth, LED's, Halos) and other areas they just did whatever they wanted (Grille, Roof, Scoop)

I hadn't really decided on the sunroof. I'm not so picky about how it opens. I think the weight a sunroof adds is a minus, and I would want to use that extra $$$ for other options and upgrades. I also like the look of the reverse...ummm, I just talked myself out of the sunroof all together. Cool! I guess I'll leave this thread alone!

If there's tracks in the roof as has been mentioned... well... it's no good on a car THIS important.

That red looks absolutely beautiful in the light. I know what color I'm getting.

The sunroof isn't a big deal for me. I loves me some T-tops, but I've never been a fan of sunroofs for whatever reason.

Welp, this is my first negative comment on the car and I hope it's my last. That sunroof looks like crap. Mark that off my "must haves" list. If it opens to the outside like that then no sunroof for me.

If I had to choose, this is less offensive than the other thing I don't like. At least here you can choose NOT to get it.
