Just the facts!! Took mine to work today and 15 people saw one up close for the first time. Number 1 comment was " Thank's for not putting the Mustang Stripes on It!!" Of course that was after the comment GM got everything right with this car. Stay warm in Lubbock. You ought to work with TSP and offer your car as a Test Car for their products. I had their TSP Magic Stick V3 in my '02 WS6 and it was just NASTY!!

hahahahahaha well played... I tried, but they want it BONE STOCK and I have the muffler delete and x-pipe installed. Might be more trouble than it's worth to reinstall my old mufflers/h-pipe. I've offered, up to them and I'll know more when I head out there later this week.

Hmm is it just the back or are the side windows covered too. Where did you get them from?

I like them...I'm thinking about getting some myself. I have always wanted these on a car. Sorry I can't helP w the install but good luck.

People are funny/sad just to waste time to come in here and try to put someone down, with opinions, nonetheless.

guys, he already bought the louvers. Whether or not you like them is irrelevant. He was asking for advice on the install. Did you get them installed yet? Pics once ya do

use the 3m, just make sure you clean the glass real good before you apply them. i had a shelby charger with the louvers and it held with 3m for 13 years before i needed to pry the brackets off.

I would wait till you get alot warmer weather say 60-70. Or you could put it inside a heated garage for the weekend and then do it. The 3m is what I would use and clean the glass with alcohol swabs and a razor before sticking the tape.

Yeah, definitely wait for the warmer weather.

We got my daughter louvers for her '03 Mustang for Christmas. She wanted them so bad and the guy in the auto parts store was so condescending, I ordered them elsewhere (he said "talk her out of them, please. Tell her 1985 called and they want their louvers back"). I hate that. It's not his car, so his opinion doesn't matter.

We are waiting till it's warm out to install them, too. And agree with cleaning the glass really well. I've had a few things with 3M tape on cars and they lasted years.

I had louvers on my 85 Camaro. No 3M was needed because the whole back hatch lifted up, so the brackets attached to the glass while open and the middle piece was hinged for easy cleaning. Some idiot stole the middle piece though.
