Short story,
I have been reading the Camaro forums since thay started and just recently joined. I figured I was still at least a year out from purchasing. I started pre planning and figuring out what exactly I wanted so that I did not make an impulse buy. WELL..that was the worst thing because ofcourse when it was made possible I bought while"just looking". My dealer made me an acceptable trade offer with Supplier pricing, USAA discount, and the 500.00 no return bonus. I had my heart set on the RJT but had to have the manual transmission after my last regret (05 auto Mustang). My preference order was RJT, ABM, and everything else was about the same. My order would have been a 1SS RJT with Gray interior, BA stereo, and polished wheels. I decided to buy instead that day instead of waiting for an order. Unfortunately the 2SSRJT on the lot stickered at 37500 and the 1SS ABM was 35500, and both he had were autos. When he said he had a Black 1SS 33700 that was in my price range with the manual I was sold at first sight (it was very clean). My mom had a 79 Black Trans Am and I still remember riding in that car. I decided to take the deal and its out front. When I see the RJT threads I often wonder if I made the right choice because it is stunning. My friend bought a 1SS ABM 3 days after me and when I see it I again wonder. BUT, I really like mine and when it is clean I feel like I made the right choice. Enjoy yours!

Well the RS pack is about 1700 on the 2LT(Canadian) not sure about it in the states though, but i dont think the op got ripped off, unless she was paying over sticker for her 2LT ABM.
RJT is a beautiful color, i just hope you dont loose your breath when you first see an ABM Camaro.
I thought ABM was blah, saw it in person on March 16th, it blew my mind away.
I originally ordered orange, got the car i always wanted. Then, family, friend all began to realize how everyone in Ontario seems to be buying IOM, now im starting to regret having this color. When i first ordered in October, i was the first to order IOM and IO interior, all the salesman were thinking that it was going to be overkill but i knew what i wanted. All orders were filled by december, i asked what colour they all were, every color but IOM. So i was a happy camper. Then came the autoshow, IOM Camaro, white stripes and IO interior. Went back to the dealer and 4 orders were changed to IOM, so i was like great.
Anyways, every Camaro ive seen on the road, while driving mine has been IOM
I was getting soo many calls from friends thinking they just saw me (black and grey stripes are hard to tell the difference lol)
So ive made a few changes to my car. But even now i see, more and more IOM camaros and more and more people ordering IOM Camaros in ONtario.
Ontario is the national home of the IOM.
So now i look back, and think, i shouldve went with ABM.
I love my IOM, i got the car i always wanted, but seeing how many IOM Camaros in Ontario is really starting to take away from it sadly.
Anyways im rambling, hope your happy with the car. RJT is a gorgous color

I still haven't seen any ABM or RJT in person yet, and those are the colors I was most interested in. I've only seen yellow, black, silver, white, and orange.

My sister in law has a 2SS/RS this same color. Its one of those colors that just "pops" on a nice sunny day. Congrats and enjoy your new ride...........
