On the Camaro I use the same ground connection for the amp in the trunk that the battery ground cable is secured to with no problems, but if you prefer the battery ground direct and it causes no problems use it. I am sure you have read it all about grounding but below is another good read.

So I got the amp installed, I have the Gain for front and rear set to right around the first line, I had it at the second and I got some static and the Chimes were very loud, I also was not able to Control the Vol as well as it got pretty loud on low settings but it did sound really good. I now will listen to it in the Mid teens and have no reason to go above mid 20's ever.

LEO set the cross overs and what not and I left them.

I have it grounded to the battery, I do have one odd issue, I no longer have the Grid lines or the options in my MyLink for the back up camera, Only thing that is different is the amp ( i Tried swapping stock one back in ) and i had a little spark as I was loosing the ground strap from the car as I forgot to loosen battery ( I tried grounding it straight to car at the strap for static issue). I did add the resistor to the fark kit and I soldiered and heat wrapped it .

The lines might be disabled in the mylink settings (if its a mylink). I just responded . So sorry!

You can reset the camera settings in the options under the mylink. Mine did this a few times over the years and returned after letting the battery sit disconnected for a hour or so.

Correct. Only thing is never run RCA and power wires in parallel. He has 4 gauge (spec for the amplifier and its OFC) so they are perfect.

I disconnected the battery for a few minutes I'll leave off for a few days and see what happens, it's odd as I don't even see the option. They really came in handy because I park the car Tight into the corner of my shop.

It shouldnt mess with your tune. Radio and BCM programming is seperate from ECU. Granted, your tuner can literally flash the ECU just in case after they do their flash. Ask your tuner to be sure
