That Z28 is click bait. It never happened and it never will in 6th gen capacity anyway. The last Camaros ran off the line in mid Dec of 2023. The very last one built was a ZLE. No way GM is going to fire up the Camaro assembly line which by now I’m sure has been torn down and re tooled just to build 1000 Z28 cars.

Any revival of the Camaro nameplate is going to vaguely resemble anything that we here would consider a true muscle car/Camaro. It will at minimum be hybrid (with a 4 cylinder or V6), and most likely will be full electric. Regardless of President Trump's attempts to stall adoption of full electrification of the auto industry, these companies plan a decade in advance and have already invested billions into future plans/plants. Anything after the 6th gen will be Camaro in name only. If revived, would it be beautiful? Very likely. Would it be fast? Definitely. Would it be a Camaro? Unfortunately, no - it will never be again. They have killed our beloved Camaro as we know it. Hold on to your 5th gens friends.

I'm not so sure a design widely accepted as "beautiful" would be easy to conceive. Maybe a clean sheet design is what's needed. I'm torn myself as to how much heritage should be baked into the next design. I loved the look of the 5th gen and saved to buy one. gm would need to capture that feeling for the next Camaro to be a success. If they're thinking about applying the name to an suv please don't and just let the car die respectfully.

I agree on this. But I still feel that the Camaro name brand will go on another hiatus like they did after the 4th gen. I just hope its not some stupid SUV or EV model.

I agree with both of you. The Camaro name does not belong on an SUV, crossover, EV, or anything of the sort. I feel like Ford made a massive mistake with their Mustang Mach-E branding. But who am I?

Well Gm claims they won’t make fords mistake on E-Mach to the Camaro but I have a feeling if reintroduced it’ll be similar. They’re going more hybrid than full ev since they realized public isn’t buying EV bs right now. But it’s coming. V8s are out the window. More and more will go to ev for performance
