It's fairly easy math guys. We live in the second largest country in the world and have what about 33 or so million people. Distribution costs are higher and the quantities shipped lower. The US has almost 10 times our population!!! We are a Macs Milk Store compared to the US as far as buying power. Things will always be cheaper where there are higher quantities sold. That being said I'm still glad to be Canadian where the beer is better and the beavers plentiful.

Customs confuses the $%^ out of me and I'm assuming that a supercharger/turbo kit would get nailed with duty charges because it's not a replacement part. The only way I can think of to avoid them while still getting the american price is to have it shipped to a buddy down in the states and then have him ship it up to me.......residential address to residential address....that would work wouldn't it?

Actually as long as the item is manufactured in North America you don't pay duty (NAFTA). What you will pay is a brokerage fee (Purolator only charges $5) and of course your local taxes.

There is no duty. Only GST and PST.

The courier companies may charge "brokerage fees" so consider having it shipped US Postal service which will be cheaper.
