I agree with everyone else. I've got a 6 month old and the rear facing car seat fits just fine behind the passenger seat. It only has to be moved up a little bit, compared to my 1997 Z28 which has to be moved forward a lot for it to fit. Go for it man!

Oh, man, you guys need to talk to my wife. I'm in the doghouse for getting a camaro with a baby on the way...
"But Honey, it has a back seat! My Fiero has no back seat...my truck has no back seat...we need a back seat, right?" |

Just be careful of leather seats with these Car Seat. The need to be REALLY SNUGGED DOWN to work properly. This can stretch out the leather in places and make it look weird when the seat is taken out. Use a heavy towel or one of these Padded Seat cover things they seel at places like Babies-R-Us to protect the seats.
I DIDN'T do this in my Saturn Astra and it did mar and stretch the leather. |

The rear facing infant seat is gonna be your biggest battle, but once the baby is old enough to turn it around you should be good to go. my 4 year old(at the time) fit just fine with her car seat, and the booster was even better.

i dont have a Camaro yet but in my GTO i put a recarro child seat back there and it fits a little snug. the new camaro has half the space in the back so dont get a recarro for the back seat untill you can make it forward facing. but the baby has to be a year old and at least 23 pounds i think. mines only 18.5 pounds. i cant wait. that recarro has been sitting in the closet for like 3 months now.

Baby seat
I have a new born. Now 6 mos. I've had my camaro 5mos. The infant seat fits fine. It has seat latches also if needed. The only problem is it's tight fit for passenger. Dif. If tall 6 ft or higher.

You should do a burn out with your "Baby On Board" sticker attached to the rear glass. That would be epic.
