A Turbo-V6 is not a bad thing since the original Vette in 1953 was a 6banger... but most have forgotten that, and the V8 has been more or less a staple of the Vette's existence afterward. I can not dissagree with you for example nissan gtr 3.8 V-6 twin turbo which produce 485 h.p .it will smokes stock corvette c6,turbo is great idea for getting more hp from v6 engine to compare with v8 . But can you imagine vette without v-8 ,it wouldn`t be the vette,i love c6 and i hope the next one wouldn`t be worse than c6.

GTR also has AWD. If they put that in Vette's there really wouldn't be much left to stop them.

That's ok, you can launch a Corvette more then 20 times at a track, or whereever, at WOT, and still have a tranny in one piece at the end of the day.

i would love a cross of the c6 and stingray concept but the stingray concept interior is a must! i love it! thats the only thing i think the c6 was lacking was the interior department

Sorry bud.. but the Nissan GTR doesn't SMOKE even a base Vette, despite a 50HP advatage. It will beat it in some scenarios but only with the advantage of AWD and more power.

In the 1/4... the GS's 12.2 sec @ 117.0 mph vs the GT-R's 11.9 sec @ 120.1 mph. The Z06 kills it and the ZR1 kills it and "bangs it's wife and 20 year old daughter"

If the Vette had AWD it would certainly beat a GTR. Hell I'm betting if the Vette just loss the RUN-FLATS it would beat the GTR in the 1/4.
