What about tinting and racing? I know one of the tracks I've seen around here state you cannot have any tint on your car that didn't come from the factory. Is this a pretty common restriction on tracks or is that specific to this one?
I've had every vehicle I've ever owned tinted -- I love the looks, totally willing to spend the extra cash, and it does help protect the interior. I just don't want to disqualify myself from racing it before I even have a chance to go... |

I've only got one of my cars tinted and am curious if anyone has problems with it starting to look bad after a couple years - scratches, etc. I'm considering getting mine done when it gets here in a couple weeks, but have disappointed on the durability . . . Do you have to have it redone every few years?

I have 5% on the rear and 20% on the sides, I'm changing the sides to 5% when the winter is over, I want the windows to be unable to be seen in at all, with the 20%, it's really dark, but in some different lights you can see in a little bit.

The lower the number the darker the tint. I have 20% all around but the windsheild I have limo tint. My state doesn't want anything under 30% I have cops pass me all the time and don't mess w/ me. But, It's great and not too dark at night.
