how is the decel popping with this? i have just the muffler delete right now, but am thinking about doing this to mine. with the muffler delete there is alot of decel popping, but mainly at lowere speeds around town.

I hear the popping every once in a while. It's there but not very much.

Couldn't take that quiet exhaust. About a month ago I pulled up to a light and I was one car back and one lane over from an SIM SS. I rolled down the window to hear what it sounded like and I swear I couldn't hear the car at all. I knew then the exaust would have to go right away.

Poor car barely had 30 miles on it when it got it's first upgrade.

BTW I need to swing by and get a gas caddy from you. I might give you a call Friday afternoon. I'm having the stripes put on at a shop over in your neck of the woods and thought about stopping by after I pick it up.

Excellent write-up, great pics. Definitely going to be my first mod. I can't stand how quiet this car is.

It works like one. If you look at the pics in my first post where I tried to get the inside of the X-Pipe you can see all the perforated holes. That is all surrounded by packing. I promise is sounds like it has a muffler as well. I'm going to try to get some video posted by this weekend.

Right, I understand the need (having the 3" magnaflow x-pipe system myself) but the removal / welding work looks like a hack job. Not sure picking your guy based on lowest cost was the right way to go.

Don't get me wrong... as long as you're happy with the end result that's all that matters, but I'd of expected you to get a tig welded setup vs. the street shop spot welding.

If theres no leaks, then whats the problem? Yea it might look like crap, but it got the job done. How many people can you honestly say have looked under your car to check out your exhaust tubing?
