Hold up now. There is no reason to get all hot and bothered about the response you got. You miss spoke and some one answered you. So in turn you are getting pissed at the fact that you did not get the answer you wanted. Also that someone made you look like a fool that I sure you are not because you did say the wrong thing. So next time think about what you are going to say, write or do before you do it.

no pretty much they are going to be an option to put on the car.yeah the dealer may install them but im going to have the option to keep the 20's or do the 21's. and please learn how to "quote" instead of copy and paste.

Actually, you are both right. He's right about the explanation on dealer/stock stuff and you are right about them being an option no matter WHO offers them. They ARE still an option like you said.

But, 20105thgen's question still remains...as I'd like to know as well...

Hey when you get a forum open about cars with a bunch of muscle heads then tempers will fly from time to time. Snapping at each other comes with the territory. Just be glad this is not a sight about nascar. Hell every one would gust get into a fight as nascar fans tend to do.

I want to know if the Chevy dealer will give top dollar to trade the OEM SS 20" wheels and tires for the 21" ? As long as they have never been driven on, will Chevy make the 21's an upgrade for about $1k ???

For those that are going to be driving in the colder weather with this car, I would just order it with 18's and put snow tires on em, and then get the optional 21's for the summer.

Just to give you an idea, I saw a Challenger at my local dodge dealer with 22s on it, it looked hideous, it made it look like they put a lift kit on it, it was beside an R/T with 20's. So I'd wait to see how it looks with 20's before thinking about anything bigger.

I don't think the SS can be ordered with 18's
