ok. So last night i was applying my EZ flash tune and the custom engine tune went very smoothly, but when it came to my tranny tune i kept getting a code from the EZ flash that wouldnt allow me to install my custom tune and furthermore interrupted my stock tune. Needless to say i was freaking out lol... Luckily i caught vince while he was still at his computer and he was generous enough to help me on the spot (this was at 9pm seattle time). He figured out how to reset the stock tune in no time. It really amazes me how good he with computer programming. So we got it back to my stock tune and i asked vince why it didn't work and apparently my Camaro has a different transmission, transmission computer and or transmission tune that SCRMING's and the others that Vince has tuned. He is going to write another program and we are going to try it again. I think this will entail some very interesting results once it is all said and done and i get a dyno of course. Only thing is now we will not know if it is only my CAI that effects the resulting numbers :(

Got a production date on your car? I wonder how many variations of our tcm's or trans there are :(

not sure, maybe on the strike plate under the hood, I thnk it'll have the VIN on it, maybe the original color code. The VIN might actually have a production date in it somewhere. I wonder if there's a sticky someplace on this forum that shows you how to decode your VIN #.

Inside the driver side door, above the door catch. It gives month/year.
