To answer your question- NO!.
Just remember that in most states your personal auto insurance policy excludes coverage (including Liability) while engaging in any type of racing/exibition event. If that tire had injured any spectator the car owner could be paying for the rest of his life.

Wow -- people way too close to that car while doing a burnout-- and by the grace of God, no one was injured -- other than that poor Camaro which is now toast. This demonstrates how explosive a burnout can be -- and the damage it can do.

Here's a thought:

I wonder how old the tires were?

Someone on Camaro5 posted a link about tires having issues when they were older than 6 years. Makes me kind of curious as to what the age of those tires were. Of course, the burnout could have caused that as well...
