I very well could have been. I didn't ask him any personal question just stuff about his G8. I plan on purchasing their products for mine after hearing him. The do a lot of R&D and of course all are tested on the track

The Extreme kit doesn't ride that much more harsh than the GSR kit, but it adds adjustability.

Not sure who this guy was but he was a Pedders employee and he was driving a slammed G8 GT. It looked really good. All the info I got from him is on that website you guys posted, plus he gave me one of their brochures, AND he said pointing to his G8 that the IRS on this car is phenominal. Here's some of my pics I took of his G8 and the GTO owned by the other guy that was with him. Enjoy

That in fact was Pete Basica the President of Pedders USA, and those are both his cars, the GTO was one of the first GTO's in the states, and the G8 was one of the first non-888 cars available too. Pete's G8 is an amazing ride, I took it down the track at our local strip and it's a monster. Very subtle and very quick. Both cars are capable of very good 1/4 Times, and will walk away from most cars of equal weight on a road course.

I'm one of the largest Pedders Dealers in the USA, and we are looking forward to bringing the Camaro back. I Grew up with my 3rd Gen, and bought a GTO in 05 because there was no Camaro to buy.

If anyone has questions regarding Pedders, the Camaro Suspension, or Pedders Day Events around the country please let me know.

Hey does anybody know if these 3 things can be changed? I want the concept rearend tail pipes, side mirrors, and the vents on the rear fenders are now closed on the preproduction models but they are open on the concept.
possibly, but keep in mind that the pics you posted are of Bumblebee, not the original concept.

the side mirrors will be the hardest to do unless you know someone who is good with that kind of stuff.

are you wanted the tailpipes themselves or the tailpipe shrouds? subtle difference...

and the vents, you'll have to take it to someone or diy and cut them open but make sure to seal them back up asap to prevent rusting

ok so do you guys think that the extreme package would offer a ride as comfortable as stock but handles way better?

^Probably not as comfortable as stock. But I doubt it'd make it undriveable. My GTO is very comfortable, it also has 4 wheel independent suspension. Granted not the same as the Camaro's. But anyway, the ride was very nice. I bet the Camaro will be the same way stock. If you throw some stiffer springs it'll make it a bit rougher. No way around that. But I actually prefer a firmer ride because wallowy cars that pitch you from side to side over bumps and surface imperfections are annoying. Not to mention detaching from the driving experience. And who wants that in their performance car?

did a lot of looking on pedders site, they list the "Camaro Track Extreme" pack as having a pontiac G8 STB included.
https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au...&Level2=CAMARO

however, i wonder if the G8 stb will work with the camaro. due to the fact of the way the hood strut is mounted on the camaro. its a single pillar mounted on the right strut tower whereas the g8 has 2 small ones mounted farther back. and when the hood is closed it would catch and bend on the stb. tho, it might run far enough forward so that the hood strut goes right over the hinge point on the stb, dunno, guess we'll have to wait and see.

tho pedders has already stated some stuff wont work between Zeta I (G8) and Zeta II (camaro) platforms.
