Well I emailed my saleman and got a reply for the sales manager to call him. They told me they have an allocation opening this week for my order. I wonder what would have happened if I have never had called. He said it could take up to 3 months for me to get my car so at this rate maybe i will get a 2011, lol ... man I hope not.

At least I was able to get my order number finally from him.

Ugh that sucks scrappy...I started to get nervous after not hearing anything from my dealer for 3 days after placing my order after they told me they had allocation but then I got my order number on Wednesday and already went to 2000 by Friday. Sorry bud

I just found out today (Thanks to Becky) that I am most likely in the same boat as Scrappy. I placed my order on March 8th (I originally thought it was March 1st) and as of today's date, my order is still at status 1100.

Since I was planning to order a cat back exhaust for my camaro, and wanted the exhaust delivered just before the car showed up, I asked the dealership "what kind of time line am I looking at...6 to 8 weeks.??" They told me "yep...the camaros are moving good, it should only take about 6 weeks." This is fine with me....I was actually thinking.."sure, I'll plan on 8 weeks so I dont get my hopes up."

Now I find out I'm still at status 1100....and the plant will be closed all next week....

....you members have no idea how pissed off I was this afternoon!!! I resent and hate being lied to. If you can't perform, man up and say so!!

I called my sales person (today...on her cell phone) and expressed my concern that vehicles ordered after mine were being produced while mine sat dead in the water. She promised to check on it Monday and call me, but I plan to call first!!

So now that I've had some time to cool off, and know the factory is shut down all next week, I've decided to give my dealer one last chance. I will tell them Monday morning..."If you can have my status moved up to 2000 or more by Friday, March 26, 2010, I will NOT cancel the order. If on the other hand, my status is still at 1100 by 5:00 pm Friday afternoon, consider my order cancelled.

At this point I will first look for the vehicle I want (2SS/RS IBM, Silver Stripes, Gray Leather, Sun Roof, Polished Wheels, 6M Trans), or order from a member dealer here in Michigan that can get the car MOVING.

Thanks for listening to my rant.....lol. I'm still kind of pissed..lol...I guess you can tell from the long post......sorry!

I picked up a 2ss NO RS, auto ploished wheels and sunroof Summit White today. Jeff Belzer's Cehvrolet in Lakeville, MN. #75,016.
