bottom line for me is that I wouldn't care if they put a 5.3 v8 in it as long as they shed some serious pounds. The camaro is excellent in every area except its weight.

I don't think anyone could argue with that point! Truth is the Z28 will most likely be heavier than the new 2011 GT500 and will only have a few horses more if they stick to the CTS-V numbers in the LSA, which is the most likely engine candidate for the Z28. It will have superior Torque but not by much. Will the extra power make up for the extra weight? That is a question no one can answer at this point till we have more details and specs, and an offical release on the Z28 from GM would help!

Truth is by the numbers a new GT500 should weigh less than the current SS with more power all around. But that doesn't mean anything. We know that the GT500 doesn't hook up well from a dead stop, although that is just an opinion from what I've gathered from videos and car magazine reviews. Just my 2 cents!

I'm well known for what I want but again.

DI V8 or Supercharged DI v8 pushing 600 hp.
stiffer suspension only if it means better handling

everything else is a bonus.

Make a version that is just a muscle car and leave off all the electronics, bling, and things that add extra weight. Some people want just a basic car and not all the luxury crap. Seems when they build something they have to load all the vehicles down with accessories.

Or just make it optional. I don't know about you but I would like to have a stereo and stuff like that. I enjoy music, especially when I drive lol. Optional stereo and stuff like that would be cool, especially for those people who don't want that stuff if it would knock price off... That would be kind of cool.

Make it around 3,500 pounds and close to 600hp. Make it handle as well because this Z28 needs to be a monster on the course as well as the straight line. This is gonna rock and im so excited!

should have added the option of being Lighter. Lighter + Suspension + LSA + agressive styling = GT500 Killer

I wanted a more realistic list of options that GM might actually listen to. LOL Just kidding yeah I should've put that, but I don't think GM will be making this car lighter until the 6th Gen unfortunately!
