Might be a little early to ask but, is there any interest in driving the last hour or so (from Hamilton) via country roads instead of the highway? Its an extra half hour but a much nicer drive. I even know someone who could act as a local guide as an alternate route could go right through my home town.

There's some nice roads up on top of the escarpment with some switch-backs that you can jump down off the escarpment and then back up. Did these last summer - lots of fun . But I think Ottawa/Montreal crew will probably be too big and coming in too late on Saturday to want to venture off the highway (well not that late, but doing this takes time, want to get to venue asap etc.... you know what I mean)

Edit: I would love to go through that tunnel under the Wellend cannal though .... diverters open 100%, WOT But is that too far west?

Although I would like to get there earlier than we did last year (what time was it Hylton? Must have been noon by the time we go there no?). So I guess my drive down will depend on what time the caravan is rolling through my neighborhood Saturday. If it's early enough then I'll join them. If I desire to get their earlier, then I may change my mind.

I'm think of parking arrangements as well, would be nice to keep us all together

You might want to register on wnyfbody.com and tell them about this show. There are several hundred f-bod guys on there and they are based out of Buffalo, NY. Also, you could try nyspeed.com, and rodandpiston.com as well. Both sites are based out of Buffalo, and rodandpiston caters to the show-n-go crowd, lots of classic muscle in there. The guys that own rodandpiston have a '69 Camaro and a '79 Z28.

rodandpiston has a show and cruise calendar of events on it.

The tunnel is just west of the hotel, maybe 5 minutes away

NOTE - You don't have to pre-register, but look at the prices below and you'll see you'll save a few $$$ by doing it now. Plus they say that pre-registrants get a "goody bag".... but they gave those out to on-site registrants last year so I donno.

Undecided....I would go if the group would be all together!
