we need GM licensed Camaro cups for these offending cup holders. they are short and will not interfere with shifting the 6 speed manual transmissions. I for one will ( as your governor) ban the use of my Camaro cup holders until such a necessity is available. A Vote for me is a vote for solution to the camaro cup holder problems we face everyday.

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1

For me is is uncomfortable, plus I'm always worried I'm going to knock over the drink and make a mess.

Well I don't drive with anything bigger than a 12 oz can in there. Why do you need anything bigger than that while driving anyhow? If you do then my next question is, if you put a cover over the cup holders, or eliminate them...how is that an improvement? Do you just hold the drink between your knees? I can see not allowing drinks in the car entirely, but hiding the cup holder doesn't seem like its much of a fix for your problems.

Well, my wife and I have a long commute to work and sometimes we take the Camaro. She brings her travel coffee mug which is pretty big, but even the small travel mugs are bigger than a 12 oz can. Also, even a small drink from any fast food place sticks up higher than the armrest.

I'm with you on the cover though, I don't see any point. I still like to use the cupholders to hold small things like my phone, sunglasses or whatever. I would just like some place to put a drink too.

I just don't get the modern obsession of needing to have a drink with you in the car. Have a drink before you leave home, get another at your destination, if you really need it, and on long journeys stop and relax in a diner somewhere.
