lol it just blows my mind how when u add like tires/rims, stripes, leather seats, your at 30 k already. its like when i bought my pontiac g5 gt. i could of gotten a base gt model but i didnt. i got the full package. leather seats, sun roof, sound system, tires/rims, the list goes on. instead of paying 18k i paid 25k. im kicking my self in the ass right now lol for getting all that crap that i didnt really need. my car would be paid off right now if i didnt get all the extras lol but at the same time im going to be stuck with this camaro for a long time so i minus will get what i want. just have to find it at the right price.

i theoretically had the loaded v6 vs base v8 debate in my head. Then I started checking real prices and it ended right there. I was buying right when the cars were released and the v8's had 3 to 5k premiums. I took delivery last July on a 2lt/RS for $29k. I couldn't find an SS for under $35k, if I had patience I could do it today, but I wouldn't have had enjoyed the last 9 months as much! Plus, I decided that I am not starting my own drag racing team, so there no need for an SS (but I still want one!)

I do highly suggest the connections package if you don't get a 2lt. The bluetooth phone and stereo is awesome. Never miss a call and are much safer. Also, no need for an ipod wire.

You don't have to "find it" at a dealer. Remember that you can order your car the way you want it. The deadline to order a 2010 is sometime in April but then you can order a 2011.

We ordered our 2010 Camaro 1LT in October and picked it up at the dealer right after Thanksgiving. I went for the 1LT because I don't like leather seats and I didn't need all the extra stuff that came on the 2LT. Doing this allowed me to purchase the extra cost Inferno Orange Metallic paint, RS package, Rally Stripes, sunroof, and polished 20 inch wheels instead of the standard midnight silver RS wheels. It also has a manual transmission. This was the way I wanted the car so I ordered it. It would have been really hard to find another one built the same way. Total sticker price with destination charge was $28,645 but we got $6,000 off for our trade in 2000 Lexus RX300, a supplier discount, and the $500 credit from GM for waiving our ability to take it back within a few months. Of course we bought the car from CamaroScotty so there was no markups or anything. Good luck finding or ordering what you want.

My 2LT/RS with sunroof was stickered at 31,850 with spare tire. Due to my employer having fleet discounts with certain manufacturers i got it for 28,540.

With my military discount and $750.00 USAA Rebate I paid 30,895.00 out the door for my 2LT/RS with sunroof, Stripe Package, and window tint. I financed through USAA with no trade-in and no mon[y down.

my Victory Red 2LT = $32,500 after taxes & title (MSRP was $30,585)

I put down $15k, financed $17,500, monthly payment = $336

The final price also includes the tire & wheel insurance (or whatever they like to call it).

Got a V6 LT2 with sun roof for $23,900 b/f tax ans lic (list was mid 28) after USAA and Pontiac discounts of $1,750. Might have helped that the Executive Manager at Pine Belt Chevey in Eatontown NJ, Mike Trebino, is also from Colts Neck....

Had my own financing from USAA lined up so I avoided having to deal with them on that and no trade - totalled my Mustang.
