WOW, I just checked my mufflers and both had water (over a cup in each) in them. Its very easy to check....crawl under and youll see a very small hole on the forward part of the muffler. Stick a thin nail, or even a toothpick, into the hole and wait for the waterfall to start. My car is less than a month old and 2K miles so I think EVERY Camaro on the road (with the stock mufflers) will have this problem.

I would suggest actually drilling them out further. If they can plug up at this diameter this easily, I would drill em out to 1/8in or so if you are keeping them and not swapping them out for something else or eliminating them....

Im changing the amount from 1 to 2 cups of water in each muffler.....its been over 30 min since they started to drain and they are still dripping water, not a steady stream anymore but still coming down. Everyone, please check your stock mufflers!!!!

When I checked mine last night there was no water, I used a 2.5 inch thin nail to poke up through the holes. However I did notice a long time ago that there seemed to be some water on my tarp after I had been running my car for a while and pulled my car back in to park it.

It never really sounded right, then a few thousand miles ago it made a vibration/rattle noise between 2k/3k RPM. The new exhaust sounds 1000% better.

i checked mine today. had a lot of water in one, drained for 30 minutes, the other for about 10 min. Not happy that it can clog that easy.

I hope someone from GM is reading this and posts a response.

See pic below, as you can see the right muffler is still draining and did so for a long time after i took the pic.

If you drive the car long enough everytime, the exhaust system should heat up enough to drive off any water.
