The contest was for cars that push the limits of vehicles as we know them. Yeah, the other finalists weren't too great looking, in my opinion, but here is why the Camaro won:

It's taken the American muscle car into the 21st century.

Congratulations to the designer and everyone at GM!

Did you really think anything different?

The first time people really saw the new Camaro in the first Transformers movie, they pretty much flipped out.

Very cool, I knew when this car debuted back in 2006 at the Detroit Auto show that it was a special car. If GM had not released this car I would be driving a Mustang. I'm so happy they decided to put this design into production. Its nice being one of the few Camaro owners on the road amongst the sea of Mustangs.
