I've got both, and I LOVE the G8 GT. It does a lot of things better than the Camaro, but it has a few quirks that take some getting used to. I'd say the things that I prefer in the G8 over the Camaro are
Practicality when hauling the family Visibility Tranny programming Invisible AFM, in the Camaro, it feels like another gear when it kicks on and off! Smoothness Handling and Braking are VERY close, the edge probably going to the Camaro. Camaro is good for Looks Speed Good luck w/ your decision!

but trust me... as much as you'd love it, you WILL probably regret not keeping your camaro. now if you said you were getting a G8 GXP, well.... but still. save up and get it in ADDITION to the 'maro! hahaha. good luck either way... dont forget you gotta get used to the car and sometimes that can take a lot longer than we think.

Personally, 6'4" and no problems getting in and out and have absolutely no intentions of ever getting rid of this car !
But .... if you're questioning the G8 now, you will just get continually irritated every time you bop yer noggin in the Camaro. What you need to ask yourself is, will you be O.K. seeing Camaro's around town and not look backward, asking yourself 'why did I get rid of that car ?' Just to add to confusion (no need to thank me), practicallity usually makes the most sense. In the long run, what makes you least concerned is best way to go. Good luck !

OP has an LS Camaro, which the G8 GT is already faster than, not sure why everyone keeps saying "only do it if you get the GXP". GXP's will be incredibly hard to find, probably better off getting a GT and modding it if you really need the extra power.

You'd be better off getting an infiniti g37 and get it turbocharged.
Much nicer car. |

There has been alot of posts about members hitting thier heads on the sunroof section, I would suggest going to your dealer and see if you hit your head on one without a sunroof

I'm 6'1" with really long legs, but could not get the sunroof. I'm very comfy in the regular model, however. Not sure about the kids in the back.
