I've never heard of this before, but it'll be really useful for me. I have no garage, just a gravel driveway. From the street, I reverse onto the driveway and I instinctively angle my right mirror down so I can see a remaining slab of concrete that wasn't destroyed when the driveway was made. Since the driveway is at an incline, I can't see the concrete without angling the mirror. It's a tight fit because there's a wall on the left and my mom's Impala can barely squeeze by.

would anyone consider replacing the stock side mirrors and get some after market ones that look more like the concept?

i wouldn't probably illegal and probably not to practical considering the car already has large blind spots, but hey that's just me.
