Anybody online now have their instructions handy that you could scan and send to me?

I am 250 miles from home visiting my Dad, put the Injen box in the trunk after inspecting it at home...but left the directions at home! DOH!

take the wheel off

hey tie fighter, if you have not done this , then do yourself a big favor and jack it up and remove the wheel... makes life a lot easier, also take a small screwdriver to remove the wheel well screws so you dont crack or break them, take it slow and its a great project, some nice sounds,, cup of coffee and lay out the tools..then take it for a ride,,,,,

Anyone consider the insulating factor of the black paint on the black wrinkle tube?

I would think that it would keep heat soak away better then the shiny exposed metal tube.

I put mine in yesterday and I love the wrinkle black! Took me about an hour since I have installed a bunch of intakes before. Def felt thr gains after I let the ecu reset. Awesome sound when you floor it and pretty cool whistle when your just cruising. I think you can download directions off their website tiefighter! I don't have a scanner or I'd gladly upload mine!

NO, I checked the website and this is the only one with no directions available for download. I also e-mailed and PM Injen on here...hope they get it before I leave tomorrow!

...or someone here has a scanner to scan the directions for me!

I did mine in 90 minutes start to finish. Did not jack up the car, nor remove the front wheel...just turned to the right as far as it would go. Pretty easy install.

Yum, I finally got my Injen! =D I'll install it later this week. So some of you mentioned the 13mm, and 10mm screws are off? Did you have to buy proper screws? Or just switched the ones labeled in the instructions?

I'm still holding off on installing mine just yet as I have a free (yes 1, for buying the camaro, woohoo! /sarcasm) oil change from the dealer. Install it and take it to them when needed for oil change or install it and change oil myself?

Although, when I went to the dealer to get my plates, he was asking me what I did to my previous car and seemed pretty cool about it.

Oil diffuser coupler

I did mine last night in my poorly lit garage in the dark - and man was it hot

Took me a little over an hour... mostly because I couldn't see and I didn't take the wheel off either.

But this oil diffuser / coupler thing that's just sort of pushed into the tube on the Injen intake. It doesn't seem very secure. It could slide right out.

Am I missing something? Instructions just say to stick it in there but there's nothing to really hold it.

On cleaning the Ingen filter...Its my understanding that removal of the wheel was only to get at the washer bottle mounts and change out the washer bottle. Can't you just remove the chrome or wrinkled black tube from the top clamp and undo the lower frame mount bolt, undo the sensor and oil diffuser. Then the whole tube should come out and the filter at the end would be easily accessible. It looks at least on my car as if there is enough room. Can anyone else clarify this for me...even though I have about 20K miles before I need to worry about cleaning it Lovin my Ingen!!!
