It does get comical reading some posts by our fellow fan-boys as well as some of the Mustang guys here. I like a good competition between my fellow man but some of these people take it too far. Hell, I'm friends with a Chally and Mustang owner on here. Some of the name calling gets ridiculous and it just shows people's mentality level. The OP's post was all in good fun so I'm not really referring to him but many others take it to the extreme.

I don't get a lot of grief from late model Mustangs or Challengers. The people that I've had rev on me and try to race me are Dodge Magnums, 4th Gen Camaros, WRXs and Chargers. It's odd because I expected more "challenges" from Mustangs and Challengers. 4th Gen Camaro owners around my area are some of the worst for trying to race and acting like ass hats.

I've got to agree with this comment, it doesn't matter to me what kind of car someone has but I respect them either way, it's their cash that they plunked down on the car. And definitely need to agree with the bmw comment, seeing as how I happen to have an m3 and s4, not all of us german car owners are snobs.

Man, I love all the American muscle cars. If I could, I would have one of each. Even as a Camaro owner, my favorite car ever is a Ford--the GT40, which was based off the initial Mustang. I'll never own one, but still!

I would take a Camaro, a Mustang, and a Challenger and park them side by side in my garage if I could. And I would be a happy camper.

The few trolls here who SAY they own Mustangs and come in here to argue that the Mustang is better are not representitive of most of the "Mustang Guys" and honestly I am willing to bet the Mustang fourms I used to peruse I have less threads putting down Camaros that this site has putting down Mustangs. Every other damn thread here is something like "ooh my car is sooo cool"....Mustang this,Challengr that...good grief..if you have a story that doesn't require dogging out someone else..hey cool...but otherwise the crap just sounds childish...like a 7 year old argueing he has the cooler toy...I love my Camaro...but as a Camaro owner, to be lumped in with some of the stuff that I see here...no so proud of that.

Rant over...
Dude, get a sense of humor. It's just some good natured smack talk, and if you can't handle that you really aren't going to make it in the muscle car world. I'll admit that there are some immature posts and posters on here, but this was not one of them.

DUDE.....let's talk abut Camaros here..every once and a while is one thing but every other friggin post is about a Mustang or a Challenger...and good natured smack talk isn't a one way conversation...this is a Camaro forum..ie one side of the equation...good natured smack talk would be posting it in a Mustang Forum...posting it here is like telling a racist joke...cowardly and immature...and especially with the volume of these type threads here it was far from funny IMO.
And it isn't just about this thread, actually this thread and the OP isn't nearly the worst...it is the type of thread and post more than anything...can't we Camaro owners find something better to talk about? Really...

Ummm..and I have done just fine in the "Muscle Car World" for the last 40 years thank you...maybe I won't do so well in the "new age" Internet Muscle Car world where every punk who can afford to buy a new Camaro thinks he knows something about cars and has been around the block...

Time for me to butt out and find another Camaro forum...too many damn kids here. Guys that don't even own a Camaro have 2000+ post here?? I went from thinking this was a great forum to quickly realizing that it is over run with immaturity. Makes me wish the Gen5 Camaro wasn't so damn popular...maybe in a few years or so when the newness wears off this place will calm down and be a decent forum..
Do parents not supervise what their kids are doing online now days?
