If you were breaking the law the cop has every right to enforce the law.

Were the officers running the escorts being paid overtime?

Kentucky Motor Speedway would be a great location for the fest next year.

He made you open your hood because the exhaust was loud and then gives you a ticket for the CAI, what an azzhole.

LOL - I love that guy!

Anyhoo - what do you expect? Like someone else said, just because they're breaking the law doesn't give you the right to. I don't think it was a good idea even for the burnouts and things that did happen, and think we're very fortunate that we had the understanding we did with law enforcement, but it looks like you're asking for sympathy, and you won't get it here. You gotta' pay to play. The law is as black and white as they can/want to make it. If you're doing a burnout, you're being wreckless, and putting yourself, your car, other people and other people's property at risk, so... Enough of my rant. I'll just say again I'm happy it didn't end up with you going to jail.

Something more central would be nice, for sure. I missed the CA people there. I'll just have to try to make more events out here I guess

Kentucky Speedway is the name though. KMS is a little track in Whitesville, KY.

This is incorrect. While the cop can give me a ticket, it will not hold up in court. If my car, license, registration is in AZ and falls within my state law, I cannot be held accountable for another state's law. If this were true, no one would be allowed to drive out of their state b/c every state has different laws about something different.
