I hate the way Chrysler uses the same interior in multiple cars. I mean seriously, the Charger is a Very nice looking car and so is the Chrysler 300, but there is one problem, Its the same DANG INTERIOR. BTW, I think Dodge could have done something much better with the interior. Anyways, I have faith I am going to really enjoy the Camaro interior.

Domestic brands across the board let themselves fall behind in interiors (both design and quality) but GM seems to be the one that has really reversed that over the last few years and I would go so far as to state that some of their current interiors are simply the best in their price range IMO. I expect the Camaro to continue this from pics and reviews though taste and comfort vary person to person.

The Mustang interior in the 1994-2002 was very ergonomic and better looking than the newer ones in the current model. The Camaro interior is kind off similar looking to it which I like.

I drove the Camaro in Milford during our visit in May and I've sat in a Challenger SRT8 in a showroom. Granted, I'm biased, but the bottom line for me was that the Challenger's interior/dashboard arrangement left me feeling flat. It just didn't do it for me, as it seemed very "typical" or familiar. Totally unexciting. The Camaro interior took a little bit of time to grow on me. There are some subtle things that I didn't really notice right away, but I eventually found myself saying repeatedly, "Hey - look at this! This is a nice touch! Pretty darned cool!" Best regardSS, Elie

I was lucky to be able to drive the yellow RS at Indy and sit in the IVER car. I got in the back seat with someone up front and had about 2-3 inches of headroom with good leg room at 5'10" and a big frame. This car has an excellent ride quality with the 20" wheel package and felt like my bmw even if it was just around the track. And I also had to move the front seat up to engage the clutch better.

We won the ride-a-long bid from the auction held saturday nite at the Indy Bash. John asked if I would like to drive and the rest is history. I shared a ride on the shuttle bus to the airport with the guy who drove the IVER car.

That's cool! Thanks for the info about fitting in the back seat. I don't think I'll have any problems with people riding in mine.

Awesome RLMarine! We're about the same height and frame, so thanks for the input. I'm not worried about the feel inside other than it's going to be too awesome and I won't want to get out.

I'am a V8 kinda guy and this car with the stick felt real strong. I didnt get to really punch it but after the lap around the track we returned by way of the public streets thru the main entrance. Got her up to 3rd gear but the speed-o
was not working. You will be suprised by her abilities. |
