So is 2.5" piping all the way really necessary? I have to say that hearing all of these long tube exhausts would definitely put a grin on my face in person, but honestly I'd want something...ummm how should I put it...not so in your face as blade's is. lol. (blade, if you are reading this, I am not dissing your exhaust! Its prolly just a little much for my tastes ) This seems to be closer to my speed.

I'd be mostly looking for the performance boost with long tubes if I went that route, and not so much the change in sound since I'm pretty happy with my Magnaflow setup. But then again, I'm thinking I'd be kidding myself if I didn't expect a noticeable change in sound.

How does this affect your in cabin noise and drone while cruising? Is it much louder than just with the exhaust alone?

Anyways, I added each of the long tube vides from you, blade, and mrray to the sticky thread. Thanks guys!
KM - It actually starts to open up sound wise once you start to approach 2k rpm and then starts to howl once you get over 3.5k or so. I do wish it were a little louder but I think going 2.5 header out to 2.25 piping & nonresonated x-pipe to the 2.5 MRT exhaust was causing part of the ricer sound. But by replacing the nonresonated with a resonated it doesn't have the ricer sound anymore. I cruise with my volume around 20 or so, and if I try to listen for the exhaust I can hear it when I'm around 2k rpm but it is nothing over bearing and I have to make myself listen for it. Plus, I can def tell the power difference with my butt dyno!

Blade's setup is definitely for those who want to be in everyone's face when under power, and strongly hint at it while cruising. Mine is slightly milder then Blade's, but definitely along those same lines.
What were your numbers again with your setup?

Like 276/250, no Injen. Dyno with Injen was a tad lower with the car pulling so much timing, even though performance numbers dropped. Haven't gotten back on the dyno lately as I haven't had time, but car isn't pulling as much timing with me running higher octane gas now, lol.

I have ARHs coming. Has anyone run them with just the stock pipes and MRTs? Will they size right to connect to the cats?

The fit right on to the stock pipes ROD. The first thing you need to do is loosen the exhaust flange and seperate the stock header/cat downpipe from the mid pipes. That way when you loosen the bolts it drops out in one piece. The header and the cats come seperate in the box. One side of the cat slides on partly to the header and just tap it on with a hammer. The problem comes when you don't line the rear o2 sensors up properly to the way the underneath of the car is. The other side of the cats line up with the stock mid pipes and you just line the two up and replace the exhaust flange.

LOUD is kinda and understatement. I don't know with the stock h pipe since it was already removed when I had the LTs placed on.
