True. But I have owned a 1971 Camaro with a 327 and a 1983 Camaro z-28 with the 305 and I will tell ya this 2010 Camaro V6 will kick there a__.

Some people are so hung up on terms.. Muscle car, Sports car, Sports Coupe, Pony Car. Etc.. Say "No It's not a Muscle car, It's A CAMARO." Enough Said...

ok in my day a muscle car was large displacement high horsepower
like a 427ci 430 hp camaro
or 426ci Hemi 426 hp ie cuda
428ci cobras
then the pony cars were
350 ci small block 300hp camaro
340 ci cuda
302 ford mustang
and then there were many more combo's
but most of the time
big cubic inches large hp muscle car
small cubic inches in small cars pony car
so i might consider the 6.2L 426hp camaro a muscle car (378.347ci)
and i might consider the 3.6L 312hp camaro a pony car (219.685ci)
