Agreed. No need for a commercial for cars that have a line up of ppl at the dealership. If every car commercial costs approx the same amount to air on TV, then advertise the cars that you need help selling, and also the ones that are your bread and butter (from a manufacturers stand point).

Like everyone else is saying, why invest in advertising when your product is already selling in great numbers and it's beating the competition? But IMHO a Camaro commercial would be awesome! Although now that I think about it I think there is a video about how well the Camaro handles in the snow which aired during the Winter Olympics...let me find a link and I'll post it.

I agree that a good product sells itself....however, that was one of the reasons for the demise of the Camaro (and Firebird) before....there was no marketing of it.

Unfortunately, I think GM is trying to advertise GM and the brands rather than specific models. I understand that to some point, but come on, I would think that putting out a real eye/ear catching, attention getting Camaro commercial would do nothing buy help GM overall.

I know people who have seen a commercial on TV for one vehicle and went to the dealer to see it....maybe they couldn't afford that vehicle or decided they didn't like it, but ended up with a different vehicle....

Okay, sure, if you go in for an Impala and end up with a Malibu. Sure it isn't likely that you would see a Camaro commercial and end up buying a Malibu or Silverado, but still, ask a dealer....more traffic in the showroom equals more sales. Period.

I was just thinking wishing there was on awesome commercial though. Until sales drop well have to rely on the Challenger commercials.
