well, i live in texas, my car gets "month dirty" in a week, I wash it once a week, or sometimes if im busy it might go into a week and a half or even 2 weeks with out a wash. But i completely love my car. Where i live, my car gets dirty, really easy. Ever been to abilene or lubbock? think chicago is windy? ha. plus, i dont live in the city limits, so theres dirt flying everywhere, and it dews about 5 nights each week, so that helps the dirt cling.

As far as parking close, yeah, do not like that, however, im guilty, if im making a fast dash in walmart or somewhere where i know ill get in and get out fast, but certainly not close enough to where i have to squeeze out of my car, but closer than id like to. if i know im going to be a while, i park father out.

Mine got rained on last night. It's a little water marked...and I still got my track number from yesterday... Does that I mean I don't care :P

Sometimes the parking thing can be misleading. I've pulled into a busy parking lot and had to park close to the line because another car was close to theirs. When I come back out, the original car is gone and it looks like I parked like an idiot. Just saying, you never know why he parked like that.

People are driving their cars. I know mine is a daily driver. And I try to wash it. But sometimes, life is more important that keeping a clean car. And I'd rather drive a dirty Camaro than anything else on the road south of a Corvette.
Once again, this thread wasn't just about a little dirt.

This was *IN* Texas. And I haven't washed the car I drove in at least 2 weeks (don't worry, it's not a Camaro and has been in the shop 3 times in the last month). Still, despite my not washing in the last two weeks, the Camaro I mentioned made my car look showroom clean.

I also am on a fairly strict schedule of washing mine every Thursday night while my girl is at work when I get off work and I have nothing but time to kill and clean my beauty up. I haven't really seen a Camaro here in Bakersfield that hasn't been cleaned up as it should be because, like you, I would nitpick and even though it wasn't my Camaro it would hurt me to see it that way.

Also on a side note with the parking situation I am the biggest parking a** that I know of! Ask my girl if we pull up to say a concert or sports event and we are walking up to the event and there is an open parking spot up front say under a light where my car can be watched by security safely I will have her stand in the spot while I run back and move my baby right up front under the light! Am I an a**hole for that? Possibly...but is it worth my $40k investment and only child...in daddy's eyes yes

Too each his own I agree with what's been said that sometimes people let it slip because maybe they don't wash they're own car and have a car wash do it and possibly are hurting so bad that the $20 car wash can't be done or can be put off...it happens...we've all been there but I think the proper way to look at it is at least they bought a Camaro right and no matter how dirty their baby is it'll still be a Camaro under that dirt...

They are different, but Dallas still has some nasty areas around here. I drove down one road that was nothing but gravel....not in a Camaro of course. We even have some areas that have trees similar to the ones people complain about blanketing their cars with pollen....though not in too many areas.

The op sounds like one of those people that does the fake cough when smokers walk by and probally bad mouths anyone wearing last years styles.

Anyway shit happens, cars will get dirty and people dont have time to obsess over cleaning them. People will park where they want, to some people it is a fun car nothing more not a huge monolith to gm that must be worshipped. And FAIL to you for not finding something wrong with the camaro because it was dark out.

Sure we bought these cars and are like eww awee but the car has been out a little while and is getting pretty common. In 3 years we will see 2010's parked in high school parking lots with band stickers covering the back window and a fender crunched.

Get a mobile car wash and wash them if you don't like to see dirty cars.
