LOL My daughter reminds me weekly that if I total my current SUV I get my Camaro faster.

Though I suspect her planning on driving it has something to do with the reminder.

Many people around here(and I'm sure elsewhere too) drive with one hand on top of the steering wheel. On three different occasions I have nearly been hit on the interstate as I am passing a vehicle. The person I am passing will start staring at my car and then their car will start veering into my lane. I've had to swerve once to avoid getting hit, the other two times I dropped into 4th and punched it to get outta the way

My worry is getting hit from behind, because I can't COUNT the number of times I look in my rear-view mirror and see someone holding up their cell phone to take pictures! I can't believe the attention this car gets!

I'm just wondering how long it will last. Will it last until the convertable comes out, or until they are as common as Mustangs and Vettes? I mean, they will always be turning my head since I think the car looks awesome, but these are people driving grocery-getters AND ricers taking pics.

aw, man sucks for that guy! Back when I test drove the V6 on May 6 unveiling day, a guy in a BMW M3 was galking at the car like crazy when I pulled up to the intersection and he was in his turn lane turning away from me, the car in front of him was stopped waiting to turn and the BMW guy locked his brakes up and squealed tires to about 3" from the guy's bumper in front of him! I said to the dealer, "man, this car is going to be fun!"

I didn't know whether to laugh or facepalm. I did, however, drive off because I didn't want my car to be ticketed for indecent exposure or something. This happens to hot girls too, or so I've heard.
Well, sounds like he has an excuse to replace his SUV with a Camaro now!

Typical of most drivers in the Seattle area. They don't pay attention to what is in front of them. Just my experience. Remember what happened to your car Steve.

Yeah...What's funny is in both cases I was in the left turn lane, stopped.

this reminds me of bad times. A lady in a SUV re-ended me in my old 2000 ranger. I was at a light she was talking on the phone doing 40 and slammed me. IM SO GLAD no one was crossing the other way cause i was pushed about 4 feet.
