I live next door to my state farm agent and he quoted me at $600 every 6 months for a '09 GT and he says that most likely the SS will cost about $100 more every 6 months then the GT. I'm also just 24 and won't turn 25 till next summer so it may come down before I buy my car.

I've never had Geico, but that's what I've heard from friends. If you're having luck with them that's good, because you are paying cheaper insurance.

GEICO has some of the highest ratings in the industry in customer satisfaction, claims service and so forth. Rumors float about every insurance company, and most are BS. You can go with GEICO and pay less and be happy you did.

I'm 33 and for a 2002 Monte Carlo SS and a 2008 HHR SS I pay $130 a month for both, full coverage. I think some of you guys are getting raped. Call around before you settle. I'm with State Farm.

Please read my post in a prior thread regarding all this. I used to also work for a big name insurance company.

GEICO treats it's costumers good however they screw over everyone who gets into a wreak with one of their customers. I know of a couple people who was hit by someone who had GEICO and both ended up having to take GIECO to court because they refused to pay.

Damn, this is one time I am glad I am older. I pay $55 a month on my 2004 Corvette with State Farm. Definitely call around. Many insurance companies are fearful of young drivers in sports cars.
