By the way, who here got a ride from Ian in their car and had the video turned on?

Was that the best ride of your life or what? I can't believe we got a real PRO like that to come out. That was way too cool.

My camera was running on the G8 when he drove it... it's a rear view shot.

I have trailing car video of him driving the hell out if it, until I was too far back to see him that is. I've got to edit it and I'll e-mail it to both Dan and Hunterswift. After seeing that, there is no way he was driving my car!

She would have been bored with me and cheated with Ian.

LOL...How many people can say "a professional, podium winning race driver drove my car?"

This was great event!

Dan and the crew from B&M/Hurst, the instructors, vendors, and the speedway crew/corner workers...THANKS for all the hard work and cant wait till the next one!! Did someone say biannual! It was great fun and instruction that can be used in every day defensive driving as well.

Also to the GB, Challenger and Mustang guys and gals it was great seeing your amazing rides run as well. Amazing cars out there.

Here are a few of my pics will post more later.

My friend placed my video camera at various parts of the track. I have uncut video of my runs. I timed my car as it passed the same location and came up with these laptimes:

1:31
1:32
1:32
1:37
1:32
1:39
1:28
1:29

Ian's laptime in my car were:
1:25 secs
1:24 secs

I wanted to say thanks to the organizers for a driver-friendly event. I saw old track-day friends and met new drivers. I didn't drive, but I did enjoy talking to owners and listening to the cars on track. Great to see Tribone (perhaps he'll drive next year) and Rob & Trish with their Borla ATAK cat-back- it sounded great!

Props to the the drivers' meeting organization and driver instruction. I attend many open track days and often attend meetings for beginner drivers. The classroom lessons here had timely content that was easily understood. Sometimes too much is said or the meetings are too long. These meetings were (almost) perfect.

I look forward to next years' event. I'm sure they'll be more Mustangs attending as they'll want to show-off the new 5.0. I hope everyone had a safe drive home.

What a great day! I have never been to a track day that had an instructor for each driver for every session. For the price it was the deal of the century and makes the learning curve a heck of a lot easier.

My hats off to B&M, StopTech, Magnacharger, and all of the other sponsors who made this event possible. Thank you.
