He likes little boys and playing with his chicken while wearing a shirt over his face and holding a knoose?

You obviously haven't been around some of the Bullmastiffs I have! I've been bit by both Rotts and Bullmastiffs...it's a different jaw, different bite force, and their undershot teeth don't just punch holes, they shred flesh!!! And on top of all that, they are usually a much more calm and happy dog when they're not on the clock. They make much better family pets!!!

the noose thing is a kind of way of hieghtening his pleasure. that thing is big amongst people who experiment alot with toys and such.
A couple years ago there was a 16 yr old kid that accidently hung himself while he was doing that. was a coworkers daughters good friend.

guys getting his rocks off outside in front of people. and if hes doing that to himself in public, he needs to be taken before he rapes someone! hes only 2 steps from it.

Apparently neither of us has been around the same kind of dogs then. The bullmastiffs I've been around have all tried wrestling me instead of biting. The rottweilers I've been around are all descendant from german lines that were bred for not only championship quality but also maximum bite force as well, which if I'm not mistaken rottweilers hold the record for bite force. Also, the mentality of a rottweiler is that once he grabs, his main goal is to take his "prey" down to the ground, at the same time tearing flesh off. And I've actually found the opposite to be true for the last part of the statement. I wouldn't trust a bullmastiff around a young child, while a rottweiler can be left with a child (obviously under supervision) but will never harm him or her. The mentality of all the rottweilers that I've been around is calm and assertive. I really don't know, maybe it's just up to each and every individual dog, kind of like people, instead of the breed and we've just been around different dogs.

I can tell you that I've owned both kinds of those dogs. The Rott seemed smarter but maybe he was more willing to please. The Mastiff has more of a laid back personality. I would have and did trust both of them to be around children. The Mastiff was more protective in my opinion. The Rott was very protective too but he barked a lot before he got down to business while the Matiff didn't bluff first. He just went after the threat.

I did see a a fight between those two once and only once. The Rott tried to bluff the Mastiff over a rawhide bone. The Mastiff grabbed our 120lb Rott by the head and shook it like a ragdoll. It was the end of the Rott bullying the Mastiff (pup).

The end is I would own either of those breeds again if I had the chance. The Rott was a Mahogany German and the Mastiff was an English bred. Both were wonderful kid dogs and very protective.

Much of what I've seen about some dogs has much more to do about owners than it does about the breed. With that being said I do believe that some dogs cannot be trusted around children no matter what. To me that is the most important thing in my life right now.

Whoops, it looks like I ended up thread jacking this and I didn't mean to. I also didn't want to get into a pissing contest about what dog is better suited for this, that, or the other!

My comments are from my own experiences. I've been around dogs my whole life and have seen (and felt ) alot of things. While I wouldn't want to be a bad guy encountering either of these breeds that were defending their home and the people they love, the reality is that there are other breeds that are bigger, stronger, more agile, and definitely more ferocious. I personally am not looking for a dog to use as a weapon, and it kind of looks as though my posts could be misconstrued as just that. The fact of the matter is when I've been forced to protect me and mine for real, dogs were the least of the criminals concerns...what must have weighed heavily on their minds however, was the SScattergun I had in my hands and the fact that I can write my name with it.

Once again, I apologize for sort of having this thread!

Yeh, I didn't mean to have the thread jacked. I guess it happened, either way both breeds are amazing. But let's get back to the main point of the thread, after all it's weird enough already.

When ever I read or hear something like this with such a young child I always wonder what happen to this person to make them do those crazy things! Hope they catch him before he does take the next step and molests a young boy.

Psychological factors, such as a chemical imbalance, mental illness, or social factors such as bad parenting, social structure, or lack there of, peers, drugs. Sometimes sexual gratification, or a combimation of any or all of these factors.
If we knew what caused deviance, I wouldn't be going to school.
