Thing is right NOW the only available power adder is in fact N20.... That was the reason I ran N20 in my last car... I was tired of waiting and installed the Zex... This time around I'm being more patient!

For the 3.6L DI, however:

Crankshaft: Forged steel
Connecting rods: Sinter forged steel
Main bearing caps: Sintered steel

also:

- Cast aluminum structural oil pan stiffens the cylinder block structure and reduces noise

− Oil jets cool the pistons, while polymer-coated skirts reduce noise and friction

As I mentioned... my 4.0 was not this robust and it happy with the 100 HP shot...

I can't speak to any Ford product (or care) but I do agree that this is a good naturally aspirated engine. It's just that if I asked my engine builder to build me a NOS engine using cast pistons and sintered rods and main caps (powdered steel which does not have the same molecular structure as nodular steel), he would look at me like I was on crack.

To each his own - I welcome anyone to throw 100 shot at it and put 20 runs on her to prove me wrong.

Somebody PLEASE do this! Oh, and take pictures of the aftermath! LoL and Hylton, these V6 guys are some serious hot rodders(not like the ones they call "ricers" for putting nitrous on hondas)... You might want to come on back over the the V8 section so we can compare our man hood, or lack there of.

Guys - nobody is saying that the V6 is bad. I keep telling folks who love my 97 LT1 that it would get it's ass handed to it if I raced a V6 5thgen.

my comment was more toward that blasst off guy. I am really interested on how durable the v6 engine and tranny's are.
