I think it's rubbish. Keep the old emblems on the old Camaros. And don't put any emblem on the dash.

IMO

Dude dont let these guys get to you, I too am going to be doing the same thing as you, although I will be ordering the actual Camaro emblem that goes on the 68 glove box and I will be putting it in as close to a stock position as I can, I will also be putting on the emblems on the exterior of the car as well, my 68 I had ha[B]d one on the trunk lid and front upper valance and even on the front fenders as well, I am doing it to pay homage to my 68 and I think it really looks classic by doing it. I live within Ricks 1st Generation Camaros and will most likely have the emblems ordered before I actually get my new Camaro.

I have considered adding an emblem in this area, but my concern is where does the airbag deploy from? If for some reason someone hits me and my passenger airbag deploys, would the passenger end up with a nice Camaro emblem stuck in their head?

Hmm.... what do you think they are going to do with that "big area of black" (or whatever they called it) when they redesign the interior? Maybe a dash emblem?? Hmmm..... .... ...

That made me chuckle, a little. I know you are serious... but the image of my passenger with a Camaro emblem stuck in their forehead is hilarious.

Applied with 3M tape. IT DIDN'T COME WITH THE TAPE, so i had to cut it which took an hour and now my hand is numb.

I hope not too many people steal this

If my memory serves me, the Camaro emblem on the dash was over close to the passenger air vent (right side of dash) and also said "by Chevrolet" in a smaller font below it. At least that's what I remember staring at all the time when I rode in my dad's '69 when I was just a little guy. I couldn't see over the dash so it was the only thing in my face.

Anyone know what to do with the big one since I still have it?

The airbag comes out from the top, so, no logo head stamps for anyone!
